ABIRA’S artworks aim to create a form of “escapism” for the viewer, a visualisation of the human expression through a dance of art mediums. “I want to make people feel alive.”
ABIRA takes inspiration from the expression of music and dance as well as surrealism, cubism, expressionism and the renaissance period. She describes painting as “An effortless dance, embracing awareness of oneself”.
‘My Third Eye’ is based on the human experience correlating to the spiritual. Playing on concepts of human development and the emotional events on that journey. Being aware of a deep sense of wisdom of oneself connecting with the divine energy that flows through all things. She aims relate deeply to personal growth, to provoke the individual’s soul. “To be provoked by art is to understand it uniquely”.
