LIPSTIK'S VIDEO PINUP
VIDEO PINUP is the amalgamation of 4 different directions... challenging, confronting, uniting in a sense of lost jet-set hedonism. Looking to combine style, vision and elan to create a work that eclipses the cinematic and the graphic.
Julien Sorribas, better known as LIPSTIK and SEX DATA, has flown in via Concorde (seat A1) from the South of France to bring a detail and discipline in his graphic work that is the core of the Video Pinup project. Mitchell Charman - Director of the Cinematic/Video work - like a NASA scientist on a Saturn V rocket synthesized by the hands of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Jean Cocteau; Mitchell is taking what was a two dimensional work and adding the futuristic dynamic of time. Simon John Heath MBA: the Auteur, driving the project like a 1974 Citroen SM - recklessly, forward, Avant! Jana... Jana... Jana, is the woman - a woman who presents herself as a futuristic ingenue within this visual realm - a contemporary Jayne Mansfield, with the spirit of Barbarella... a rocketeer of the senses.
Together they create.... VIDEO PINUP.
A project that harks back to a time of abandon, sex and style. Of design from Milan, clothes from Paris, Peter Stuyvesants in the pocket - cruising around Monte Carlo in a Miura... listening to Françoise Hardy...making love... living like a 1979 Paco Rabanne advertisement.
This is.... VIDEO PINUP
And yet... this is not only a cavalcade of the ocular senses, VIDEO PINUP is much more... much, much more... it also an Audio triumph. Listen, as SEXDATA unleashes a sonic Sci-Fi/Punk vibrato to eclipse any previous aural climax. Like the warm leather on an Ubald Klug seating environment: SEXDATA's anthems of accompaniment to VIDEO PINUP are your passport to international sensual pleasure.
Step into your Manumission, this is... VIDEO PINUP
Enjoy the Lifestyle.... L'Etat, c'est moi
